You’ve got our sophomore release in
your hands which is the first record by
Broken Hearts Inc. and we want to
thank you for giving it a spin!

Broken Hearts Inc. are a group of
talented musicians whose members
are split between the cities of Edmonton
and Calgary in Alberta Canada.
Inspired by the early-seventies output
of groups like The Notations and
The Intruders, the A side Please Don’t
Walk Away is atmospheric sweet soul
with plaintive lyrics dripping with
regret and pain. The flip,
Heartache (Is All You Get) contrasts
the A side with a bright uptempo
arrangement that belies themes of
hurt and cold detachment.

Over and above the quality of the music
Broken Hearts Inc. deliver, we hope you
also notice the quality of the record
itself. For this release we worked with
the good folks over at Timmion Cutting
and we couldn’t be happier with the results.
Their expertise is a perfect match for soul
music on vinyl.
